Begin your second day with the aroma of a fresh Italian breakfast before arriving in Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its ancient cave dwellings. Here, optional curated experiences and a unique cave-restaurant lunch await. In the afternoon, reboard the train and enjoy a refreshing Italian Aperitivo as the journey continues. As evening settles in, savour exquisite cuisine, live music, and a refined ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable night.
On the third morning, the train arrives in Sulmona, where a historic rail trip to Pescocostanzo offers the chance to wander ancient streets rich in history and charm. In the afternoon, reboard for the final leg of your journey back to Rome Ostiense.
